Certificate Program in Journalism And New Age Media Launched by Arising Media and Entertainment Network (AMEN)

Nagpur, 06 November: Arising Media and Entertainment Network is set to launch a journalism and new age media training program (JANAM), starting in December, aimed at providing structured training in traditional and new-age media. This three-month certificate course will not only be beneficial for aspiring journalists but also for individuals already practicing journalism. Participants will learn how to create, popularize, and monetize their Instagram channel, WhatsApp channel, Facebook page, YouTube channels, Podcast, Snapchat, Tweets, or how to quickly gain fame and earn money as influencers. The program will also cover traditional skills such as reporting, news writing, copywriting, content writing, storytelling, documentary and creating short films. It will be particularly helpful for young entrepreneurs interested in starting their own ventures related to new age media and artificial intelligence. ‘How to make money with the help of internet’, How to keep safe from cybercrimes, sextortion and identity theft’, ‘How to use the language of emojis effectively; are some of other special attractions of this course.

Additionally, for individuals aspiring to serve the nation and the people through politics, the course will have specific chapters on how to effectively utilize media tools for success. Participants will learn how to gain fame through media, help others, and contribute to the development of the nation and society. The program will also focus on teaching them how to interact with people, manage their time efficiently, and maximize the benefits of new media tools.

When asked about the need for another journalism training program in the market, Sandeep Agrawal, CEO of Arising Media, and Entertainment Network, emphasized that there is a significant scepticism surrounding media in the current environment. This course aims to promote media literacy, providing people with an opportunity to understand the challenges and realities of media. Moreover, it is designed to prepare aspiring journalists and current practitioners to adapt to these changes in the media landscape. Agrawal highlighted that the JANAM course includes hands-on experience. Participants will have the opportunity to work with projects such as Khabarnext, Zindaginext, NIB (News in Brief), and CIMORE (Citizen of Mobile Republic) from Arising Media and Entertainment Network. After the successful completion of the course, participants will receive a completion certificate, experience letter, and ID card.
