Maine Pyar Kiya Official First Look Unveiled: A Romantic Comedy-Thriller Set to Light Up Screens This July

The much-anticipated Malayalam film Maine Pyar Kiya has officially unveiled its first look, teasing a thrilling and laughter-filled cinematic journey that blends romance, comedy, and suspense. Helmed by debutant director and writer Faizal, the film is produced by Sanju Unnithan under the banner of Spire Productions, marking the company’s fourth major venture following the industry hit Mandakini. Known for championing content-rich commercial cinema, Spire continues its legacy with this genre-bending entertainer.

The first look poster is both striking and packed with narrative hints. Hridu Haroon and Preethi Mukundan appear blood-stained and stoic against a richly designed red floral backdrop. Hridu, rugged in a disheveled mundu and vibrant shirt, bears bruises like badges of survival, while Preethi, draped in a pristine white gown, wields a bloodied machete with chilling composure. The poster is a masterclass in contrast, merging innocence with violence, and humor with tension setting the stage for an emotional rollercoaster laced with romance and chaos.

Set for a theatrical release this July, Maine Pyar Kiya stands out as a romantic comedy-thriller an innovative mix of heartfelt moments, quirky humor, and gripping suspense, designed to entertain a wide spectrum of audiences.

Hridu Haroon, riding high on the success of Mura, returns to charm audiences with his dynamic screen presence. Paired with him is Preethi Mukundan, making her Malayalam debut after drawing attention in the Tamil film Star and the viral music video Asai Koodai. Their chemistry is set to bring freshness and spark to the narrative.

The ensemble cast features Askar Ali, Midhun, Arjo, Jagadeesh, Mustafa, and Jero, with impactful roles played by Jeo Baby, Srikant Vettiyar, Reddin Kingsly, Bobin Perumpilli, Thrikannan, Mime Gopi, Boxer Deena, Janaardhanan, and Jivi Rex.

Jointly penned by Faizal and BilKefzal, the screenplay promises to explore romantic and familial dynamics with a wild twist of thrill and irreverent humor.
